HAD to post this... gotten from a Labyrinth group on myspace


"my aunt was one of the costumers for labyrinth. during the filming, a problem became apparent. after every day of shooting, the director and producer would go over the dalies. the apparent problem was "the bulge". now, this being a movie targeting a kid audience, having a main character with a huge wang hanging all over the place was simply not on. the the director called the head of costuming in to address the issue. turns out bowie's not a fan of the underpants. at least at the time, he straight up refused to wear 'em. liked to let his boys hang free. but wearing such tight pants, his boys were taking up more of the screen than he was. as a solution, the head costumer gave bowie a pair of nylons to wear under his pants, therefore eliminating the overt bulge while still indulging in his strict "no undies" rule. so the next day of shooting comes, and the head costumer is SURE bowie is wearing his nylons because he absolutely, positively PROMISED to put them on and, say what you will about the man, he's known for keeping his word. but that night as the director and the producer were going over the dalies, the bulge was STILL THERE!!! so, they called in the head costumer, who swore up and down that she had given bowie the nylons, he had put them on and there was simply no concievable reason for the bulge to still be there.

thoroughly confused and more than a little afraid for her job, the head costumer snuck back into bowie's trailer after he had left to find out if the nylons had actually been worn. and, true to his word, they had been. HOWEVER, before putting them on he cut a big hole in the crotch. bowie's boys would not be harnessed by undies OR nylons.

so, you might note while watching the film that that top part of bowies costumes are always very large, showy and garish. this was the costumer's attempt to draw attention away from the enormous bulge in his pants.

ok let's see... so much to update... so little memory -.- well first off.. yea...... Kyo's gone. truely have no fucking clue what happened. ::pauses and thinks for a second:: hell.. i can kill 2 birds with one stone here...... ok so i've been talking to this guy i met on.... hotornot? yea... hot or not... for a while and we were both bored so we decieded to meet and go to Busch Gardens (we're just going to completely skip that chapter tho -.-) aaanyways... he's a total sweetie (oh his name is Brandon btw) i ended up coming home for a lil and when Brandon and his friend (not gonna say his name cause im not even sure if i say it right to begin with lol) came to pick me up i intro'd them to most of the pets... including Kyo who was all happy and jumping around and everything... including several suicide plunges off of brandon's friend's shoulder lol but yah... left with them and went to go hang out a bit more. Came home to try and talk mom into letting me spend another day with them but when i got home Kyo was laying down all stretched out not responding to anything. picked him up and he was all limp. needless to say i didnt even bother asking to go hangout. layed down with Kyo on the couch... most of the time he was just lieing still but occasionally his whole body would just jump up... after about 30 mins of laying with him he just started twitching for 2 mins, when he stoped his whole chest was vibrating until he just stoped.... we just dont know what happened. he was perfectly fine several hours earlier when we stoped home for a lil. ::sigh:: after sleeping for the night and next day Brandon called again and we decided to go out to eat. so yah... the good part of the weekend is that i got to meet him :) and spend a lot of time with him. hopefully can go see him again tommorrow night and stay for a few days. only problem with seeing him so much lately is that i havent been on to talk to all my friends ^.^; heh... oops. sorry guys. i should be on tonight tho! maybe.. if im awake :\ still havent gotten my wig -.- im inpatient.. I WANT IT NOW DAMNIT X$ its so pwetty... will look like shit on me lol but its pwetty on its own :3 maybe ill make brandon wear it and takes pics :D (yea right lol) my hair's taking forever to grow back out -.- at least some of the pink is going out.... not much tho... :\ oh and i dumped tea down the keyboard so its a bitch to type lol gotta clean it... again. welp... i put an away up saying i was gonna take a bath like an hour ago and still havent made my way to the bathroom so i guess i should end here. bye
